Clinique and Marimekko Collaborated on a Limited-Edition Range
Laura McQuarrie — January 3, 2018 — Fashion
Cosmetics manufacturer Clinique and Marimekko, the Finnish textile and clothing design company, joined forces to create a limited-edition collection of products that focus on color and print.
The limited-edition range pairs some of Marimekko's most celebrated patterned designs with lip gloss and lipstick shades from Clinique. While the Marimekko x Clinique Pop Splash Lip Gloss + Hydration offers shades like the nude Latte Pop and the high-shine, sheer pink Fireberry, the Marimekko x Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer comes in a more highly curated selection of colors that range from violet to deep red.
As well as wanting to collect the individual shades for the sake a variety, consumers will also be drawn to the packaging, each of which celebrates a different pattern from the design house.
