For years, Chef'd has made it easy for consumers to enjoy chef-created recipes, premium ingredients and easy home-cooked meals through an online service—now, Chef'd and Smithfield Foods have teamed up to offer Chef'd meal kits to nationwide grocery stores.
The meal kits feature an assortment of pre-portioned, ready-to-cook ingredients needed to make dishes like Herb-Crusted Flank Steak, 20 Clove Garlic Chicken and Farfalle Chicken Pasta. Since time is of the essence for the busy consumer, each meal kit boldly states the "prep-to-plate" time, which ranges from about 10 to 30 minutes. Each meal kit is designed to serve two people or more, with the recipes offering "elevated versions of weeknight dinner classics."
Across more than 25 states, the Chef'd meal kits can now be found at retailers like Costco, Weis and Gelson’s Markets.
