Childish Care Bear Tattoos For People With a Peter Pan Complex
References: cakeheadlovesevil
I find the choice of these Care Bear tattoos rather odd; I am sure they were done to make an ironic statement or are part of some sort of emo self-expression, but they have to live with these for the rest of their lives. If forced to choose one, the tattoo of the heart button is pretty cute. Maybe the appeal to people with the Peter Pan complex who want to stay young forever. The colours are also far too pastel for my liking.
Originally created for greetings cards in 1981 by artist Elena Kucharik, Care Bears were turned into teddy bears two years later, and the rest is history. Care Bears became an unquestionable cultural icon which leads us back to the reason people get these tattoos in the first place.
