In order to show off its XC90 SUV, Volvo set up 'Volvo Reality,' a car test drive game that you can virtually experience, provided you download the app and have Google Cardboard on hand.
Volvo turned the inexpensive Google Cardboard into a powerful marketing tool by branding it and sending it out for people to try. The Volvo Reality experience takes you inside the Volvo XC90 SUV in a multi-episode series, showing what it's like to drive the truck in different environments and times of the day. Volvo Reality gives you the chance to look around the entire car from your place in the driver's seat.
The Volvo Reality app is free and you can now also request a Volvo-branded Google Cardboard through the app, although supplies are limited.
