As part of an independent case study project, French Toast came up with a few unofficial bottle design concepts that could help Schweppes celebrate its 230th anniversary. Although the limited edition bottles designed for Schweppes 230 Years was not an ask from the brand, the packaging is fun, vibrant and chromatic, showing a real party spirit that would really kick off a celebration—the colorful lines on the Wild Berry bottle and can almost look like streamers.
Each of the three carbonated waters and ginger ales have slightly different personalities, which comes through on the packaging where there are slight variations to shapes and colors. Bottled and canned flavors like Wild Berry, Lemon and Agrum communicate the freshness of the fruit flavors, without actually using any images of citrus or berries, which is truly refreshing.
