SPC's Back to School Prank Styles Students in Outrageous Clothes
Laura McQuarrie — September 4, 2014 — Marketing
Since a lot of students are now shopping for Fall school clothes, SPC (Student Price Card) set up a back to school prank to show how easy it is to create a memorable look.
The stunt involved building hype for an exclusive event at a mall that featured 'Styles by Millie.' For the event, several teens were invited to be personally styled by Millie herself, who they were informed was an eccentric Parisian professional stylist. Millie gave directions to a shop assistant through a headset, creating outrageous outfits for the kids that none of them really seemed to be fond of. At the end, it's revealed that the master stylist is really just a grandma played by Eileen Sword.
This prank ties in with SPC's #RealStudentProblems social campaign for students to share their woes throughout the school year.
