Five is a number that's significant to Bache-Gabrielsen 5, an eco-designed cognac that was mindfully made to have "the lowest possible environmental impacts." The number five represents the fifth generation of the Bache-Gabrielsen family, five years of aging and five pillars of sustainability that inspired the creation of the product. Bache-Gabrielsen 5 was created based on the 5R principles: Replace, Reduce, Ruse, Recycle and Renew.
Every aspect of the production process was carefully considered in terms of sustainability and the finished result is a product with packaging that's 100% recyclable and made with 96% recycled glass, single-material sleeves and corks, plus fully recyclable labels.
To complete the theme of playing with the number five, Bache-Gabrielsen 5 was made available on Nov 15th.
