No. 1 de Chanel is a new anti-aging line from Chanel that marks the luxury brand's first foray into environmentally responsible beauty products. The line is dedicated to keeping its environmental impact low with thoughtfully made formulas and complementary packaging.

The nine-piece beauty line from Chanel includes a mix of skincare, makeup and fragrance with a focus on packaging with 80% recycled materials. For this beauty line, Chanel favored the use of lightweight and recyclable glass vessels that cut the weight of classic Chanel packaging in half. The glass packaging designs are accented by organic ink, which requires less energy since it works with lower temperatures.

Also in the packaging, paper booklets have been replaced by QR codes that invite customers to discover more about the items.
