There are a variety of ways to tackle anti-bullying, they even vary based on the kind of bullying there is. One campaign was specifically targeted at young people in the LGBT community, the ‘It gets better’ campaign. This parody video uses the same format but switches it around and looks at the bullies and popular kids in school’s perspective.
In the original anti-bullying video they showed older members of the LGBT community that had gone through much of the same thing, to encourage the younger members. In this video entitled ‘It doesn’t get better’ the popular kids speak about how life after high school really doesn’t get better. The video is really meant to showcase that being cool in high school really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.
