Hi, I'm Michael Baxter from Brampton and I love to write. As generic as that sounds I find writing the best way to get my ideas out and show my personality in a creative way. I do other things I swear, I'm not just a shut in that sits at my computer and writes lists and stuff (well not all the time).

I like to play sports, mainly Volleyball and Basketball as well as Dodgeball but Volleyball is my number one. Aside from that it's mostly music related things. I did some music production and DJing (and still do when called upon) and do various forms of dance including B-Boying and a few different kinds of hip-hop.

I like to think I'm well rounded and hopefully that translates to my work as well.
What is unique that's not in your bio?
I do everything music related. Produce, Dj, Music Journalism and even a few different kinds of dance.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
My favorite accomplishment is the magazine that I created and run with a few of my friends 88magazine.
How do you define cool?
Cool is supposed to be effortless self-expression. Try-hards aren't cool but those that can be comfortable with their style, self and abilities are cool.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
Keeping my eyes open, always. Anything could be a trend in the making and if you keep your eyes and ears open you could very well be the one to uncover it.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
The variety of the content is what I enjoy most about Trend Hunter.
What is your favorite trend?
This is a tough one because there's so many that go up on a daily basis. I'd say anything in the fashion section because the stuff can be so ridiculous or cool but either way it's interesting.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
Personality, personality, personality. It's one thing to write the most technically correct post on the site but showing of your personality and why you're interested in that trend makes for great writing.
How do you reset to be creative?
I like to sit down and listen to full albums or go on a new music binge while I surf the internet to reset creativity.
What inspires or excites you?
Innovation, opportunity and fresh ideas in art inspire and excite me.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
People probably won't have to touch their phones anymore, the phones will just know what you want.
