There are a lot of brands that are taking part in creating ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos, especially if they have a recognizable mascot or face that can be associated to the company. Although Santa is not always associated with Macy's, he certainly is during the holiday season. For this Ice Bucket Challenge video, Santa readies himself for the task, but since he's busily working away in the North Pole, what should be a bucket of icy water is swapped with fake snow.

Even if it does seem like Macy's found a way to cleverly cheat the challenge, since Santa is dressed in layers and layers of warm clothing anyway, he probably wouldn't have felt much of the cold anyway. At the end of the video, Macy's makes sure to note that it's only 123 days until Christmas.
