Abie Abdillah Adds Three New Stool Designs to His Portfolio

There is something to be said about a designer who is able to make minimal creations that are also utterly unique -- that's exactly what Abie Abdillah was able to do. Considering that he didn't want to create flashy pieces, it is a great achievement to be able to design stools that are full of character and yet are modest as well.
In particular, Abie Abdillah has added three new stools to his industrial design portfolio.
The first is Abie Abdillah's Madu Stool. Made out of sustainable rattan material, it was part of his thesis project from Institut Teknologi Bandung. Second, Abie Abdillah designed the Asha Stool, which was a tribute to the West Sumatera Earthquake in 2009 and inspired by traditional Indonesia homes. Lastly, he created the Dano Tripod Stool, which was inspired by a rocket ship.
