The Tie Stool is an elegantly and artistically designed piece of furniture. Its simplistic design is a combination of three bent plywood strips. Each strip is conveniently locked into the other to create a tripod-like appearance. The oddly satisfying stool boasts three solid plywood legs.
There is a small triangular gap at the center of the stool where the bent plants meet. The Tie Stool boasts a dynamic tripod format. The designers split three plywood strips into six parts to make the stool. Each individual part is formed using high pressure and temperatures that allow the planks to be pliable and retain their shape. The Tie Stool is able to flat-pack for easy shipping and transportation.
