Some may consider the 9/11 Memorial Commemorative wine seriously tacky while others may believe that it offers a great way to raise a toast to lost loved ones and those who tried to help them on that tragic day. Wherever you may fall on that spectrum or whatever you may feel, it is here to stay, at least for the meantime.
Developed by Long Island Winery Lieb Family Cellars, the 9/11 Memorial Commemorative wine is available in two types: merlot and chardonnay. Although the Lieb Family might try to deny jumping on the commemorative merchandise bandwagon for this upcoming anniversary, the price ($19.11) does make that hard to swallow. That said, six to ten per cent of the proceeds from the bottle sales will go to National September 11 Memorial and Museum.
