From Geometric Memorial Designs to Stone Maze Memorials

These memorial structures pay tribute to people who have lost their lives in tragic accidents. From 9/11 to a number of natural disasters that have occurred throughout the world, certain events that happen throughout one's life need a piece of architecture to serve as a reminder for such happenings.
The 9/11 structure was recently completed in New York, commemorating the thousands of people who lost their lives on that historic day. The building is distinct and geometric, and also features pieces of the original Trade Center Towers in the middle of the design. The layout of memorial structures varies across the world, but all of them serve the same purpose: to remind people of events that should never be forgotten.
