With 420 2014 only a few days away, Colorado-based company American Green decided to unveil the first ever marijuana vending machine. The 420 friendly dispenser called ‘Zazz Machine’ is located outside Montana’s Smokehouse restaurant in Eagle-Vail, Colorado. The machine will be stocked with products from the cannabis company Herbal Elements in hopes to "eliminate the middle man."
Unlike traditional vending machines, this one is equipped with age-verifiers to ensure that it's dispensing to a legally aged customer. Those wanting to make a purchase must swipe their driver’s license to verify their identity and age. As a safety measure, the machine also installed multiple cameras to ensure the person on the licence matches the potential customer.
