With such a rich creative history, it's no wonder there are so many examples of Montreal art out there. Easily the most European city in Canada (and North America), Montreal stands as the inspiration for artists in many different disciplines.
Montreal is home to many artists from outside Canadian boarders. They call Montreal home for a variety of reasons, one of which is the creatively vibrant atmosphere. Another reason may be the beautiful architecture, which makes just taking a stroll through Old Montreal an inspiring process in itself.
Here we see examples of Montreal graffiti as well as several Montreal-based installations like the Iceberg by Atomic3. There are also Montreal-based artists creating beautiful structures for other cities. For example, the Boardwalk Hall Light Show in Atlantic City by Moment Factory.
