The March 2019 mobile trends cover innovations made to smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, and accessories -- with everything from apps and software updates, to connected synthesizers and handy device chargers included.
In an effort to help visitors locate nearby attractions, Tourism Singapore created a series of AR Facebook Filter options that prompt them to take selfies and record videos. When a filter is selected, music and 3D effects are activated as well, working to reflect the vibe of the destination they're at, which they can then share with their friends and family members.
Also highlighted is the SQRL app, which encourages physical activity by rewarding users for how many steps they've taken. The app works by offering them $1 for every 1,000 steps taken, with users able to link the deposits to their bank accounts so that they can benefit right away.
