From Recyclable Abodes to Modern Geometric Homes
Jamie Danielle Munro — April 5, 2014 — Eco
Energy-efficient structures are becoming more and more necessary in today's age, as the health of the planet is slowly deteriorating. These examples demonstrate that many architects are trying their best to offer eco-friendly alternatives to buyers.
Honda for example recently came out with a new housing design that produces more energy than it sucks up, making it completely sustainable. In this house, the car is electric and powered by the electrical grid surrounding the place, and the home does not consume that much power. Ideas such as this should be more common in today's day and age, but unfortunately so many people are used to the traditional structures of housing that do consume a lot of energy. Perhaps in ten years this outlook will change.
