Bruns Architecture does modern home renovations that will shock and amaze you. The design team turned a half-century tiny rancher into an immaculate dwelling. Named the Midvale Courtyard, the home is located in Madison, Wisconsin.
The architects added 840 square feet to the originally 1,685 square foot house by expanding the entrance, adding a parking area and a second floor with a Master Suite. Other fantastic features are included in the updated version of the home like new insulation, energy efficient mechanical systems and a new roof. The home now has more privacy and beautiful inner courtyards for comfortable outdoor leisure.
With a neutral palette of grays and browns, the home has a very contemporary design. From the inside, the house looks enormous. The interior design makes exceptional use of the space and the decor gives the home a spacious and comfortable atmosphere.
