My inner cowgirl gets excited every year when the CMA Awards roll around, as it's an excuse to immerse myself in the music that reminds me of living back west.
The 42nd annual Country Music Awards, George Strait took home the award for Single of the Year and Album of the Year; Kenny Chesney won Entertainer of the Year (for the fourth time); Sugarland was award Vocal Duo of the year; Brad Paisley won Male Vocalist of the Year and not surprisingly, his co-host for the night, Carrie Underwood won Female Vocalist of the Year.
With all the buzz over the CMA Awards, I can't help but think about country living, so to celebrate, the slideshow below pays tribute to a few of my favourite western themed innovations.
Giddy Yup!
