Hermes Spring 2009
"Classy Cowgirl" may sound like an oxymoron, but Hermes managed to make use of the term legit in the Spring 2009 ready-to-wear fashion show.
The Hermes collection featured beautiful sand tones, overly-wide brimmed hats that would make Indiana Jones blush, and tasseled skirts fit for any modern-day Pocahontas.
“Hermes hick” would be no way to describe the line. Although the luggage is of the caliber one sees ladies carry aboard trains in westerns, Jean Paul Gaultier designed a stunning high fashion line more suitable for a stroll along the beaches of Cannes than a ride to the saloon.
This is a collection any fashionista would love to have a rifle through!
