The WKD X drinks range has been expanded by the brand to include two new flavors to help satisfy increasing demand for alcoholic energy refreshments. The drinks come in 500ml cans in the new Citrus Ice and Purple Grape flavors that each come in with a 7% ABV thanks to the use of three-times-distilled vodka in the recipe. The drinks are priced at £2.99 and are expected to be a hit amongst Gen Z consumers of legal drinking age who have shown particular interest in the beverage range in the UK.
Head of Brand at SHS Drinks Alison Greay commented on the new WKD X drinks flavors saying, "Consumers are well versed in mixing alcoholic drinks with energy drink but WKD X delivers the convenience of a pre-mixed format from a nationally recognised brand that’s known and loved. The further expansion of WKD X to five variants, with the addition of new Purple Grape and Citrus Ice flavours, emphasises conclusively both our commitment to the range and consumers’ overwhelmingly positive reaction to developments so far."
