A student housing project for the Olympe de Gouges University in Toulouse, France is underway and it is headed by PPA Architecture. This initative is set to rejuvenate life on campus and the firm is receiving support from Scalene Architectes and Almudever Fabrique d'Architecture.
The output is an industrial-style building that is clad in metal on both the interior and exterior. With a total of 615 accommodation units, PPA Architecture and its collaborators focused on creating a space that "supports both a sense of communal living and individual freedom."
The facade created for the student housing project is incredibly contemporary and definitely adds a modern twist to the surrounding environment. To facilitate a dynamic living arrangement, PPA Architects worked on three meta-scales for the project, ultimately putting focus on "the campus, the building and the lodging."
