A contemporary residential block in London, with a yield of 164 apartments, an in-house cafe, and a co-working space, has been outfitted by interior design studio Fettle. In the past, this building—now owned by Way of Life—was a pencil factory. Now, it is known as The Gessner.
The interiors of the contemporary residential block feature warmth, color, and greenery. The look is definitely luxurious as Fettle took aesthetic cues from upscale hospitality spaces. This is familiar territory for the firm. Art consultant Kate Anniss was also brought into the project to curate the walls of the lobby space with playful and eye-catching artwork.
The cafe, on the other hand, also contributes to the exclusive and luxurious feel of the contemporary residential block. It is accented by wood panels and leather seating.
