Albertsons Companies is adding to its Own Brands portfolio with Signature Reserve, which is first being introduced through seven ice cream products powered by globally sourced ingredients. Some of the new products include Brazilian Guava Cheesecake, Indian Cardamom Pistachio and Belgian Chocolate Almond, offering consumers a flavorful way to get a taste for different regions of the world.
The sophisticated ice cream products are set to appeal to the savvy consumer who is up-to-date on the hottest flavors in the world of food.
Later in the year, Albertsons plans to add to its Signature Reserve range with other products like coffee, tea and pasta with a similar globally inspired focus. Geoff White, President of Albertsons Companies Own Brands, notes: "We scour the earth for ingredients and unique flavors that meet the exacting standards of Signature Reserve. Products earn the Signature Reserve label only after a rigorous selection process."
