The Alchemist by JDO is a spooky ice cream concept with coffin-shaped packaging and unconventional flavors that satisfy consumers' desire for the new and unusual.
Created for JDO's annual Halloween creative concept, The Alchemist challenges palates with offbeat pairings like cherries and garlic, vanilla ice cream and crunchy pickles, or caramel sauce infused sea salt and crushed ghost pepper. Each "forbidden flavor" has been assigned a number that recalls dark apothecary themes, and a warning to "Eat at Your Own Risk."
“The Alchemist is a sensory rebellion,” describes Jay Dorward, Senior Designer at JDO, “Not only did we want to shock with unexpected flavors, but we also crafted a visual world that embodies culinary darkness."
