XED (pronounced "crossed") creates low-calorie cocktails that tap into emerging segments in the alcohol industry like ready-made canned drinks. The canned drinks offer a low-calorie, sessionable versions of favorite cocktails, taking inspiration from classic drinks like vodka soda, gin and tonic, the mojito and Moscow mule.
The conveniently canned and ready-to-drink cocktails contain just a gram of sugar, two grams of carbohydrates and 120 calories, specifically appealing to the health-conscious Millennial consumer. As XED founder and CEO Zeke Bronfman describes, "XED was born out of necessity. We were tired of being bloated from beer, and many of the alternative drinks lack authentic flavor and are too expensive."
XED has plans to launch its canned low-calorie cocktails in April 2020.
