Fabric-Covered Flats

Hertl Architekten Reskins an Apartment with Draped Drapes

Covering your home in fabric may sound silly, but it looks amazing as proved by Hertl Architekten. Hertl Architekten converted an old restaurant into two apartments and covered the whole thing in a dark gray fabric.

The fabric has a unique geometric pattern made by the window and door openings of the building. I have to say that I am loving this redesign. Why paint your place cool colors when you can just cover it in fabric? That should put you a few paces ahead of the Joneses.
