The Polish studio ACOS—which is a collaboration between architect Anna Stojcev and designer Stanisław Młyński—has designed a chic, contemporary, and calm apartment interior in Gdańsk. The Hideaway Home measures 70 square meters and the firm aimed to make the most of this compact footprint. In order to do so, the creative duo "carefully analyzed each square centimeter and redesigned the infrastructure." In doing so, ACOS was able to maximize the available floorplan and also optimize the calm apartment interior with plenty space for storage. Materials for this apartment included timber, stone, concrete, and microscreed.
ACOS divides the contemporary apartment into two zones—one for the "day" and another one for the "night." The "day" section is compromised out of an open living plan, with cooking and dining areas. The "night" section contains the bedrooms and bathrooms.
