ROOTS' Beverage Comes from Asian Apricot Trees

ROOTS, a start-up company based in Taiwan, newly launched its first plant-based beverage and it takes the form of an apricot kernel drink. This new beverage in a carton was created to meet the growing consumer demands for beverages that are healthier, more convenient and sustainable. With a rich taste and a slightly sweet aroma, this apricot kernel drink is made by grinding the whole apricot kernel with colloid mill technology. With this approach, ROOTS preserves the smallest fibres for the most nutritious benefit and a creamy result.

The plant-based beverage designed for life on the go can be found in SIG’s combifitSmall 300ml carton pack, with the added benefit of a reclosable combiSmart closure. The fully recyclable beverage carton with a low carbon footprint is made from raw paperboard.
