Located in Denmark, Aarhus Island is a new project from Bjarke Ingels that seeks to develop a certain section of the city. The development will include an extended promenade area to allow people to enjoy the water, along with a variety of residences.
The residence area features multiple buildings that, when looked at from afar, have an undulating design. This helps to add an interesting perspective in terms of terrain, and moreover gives a wide variety of options for spaces to live in. While the proposals have been made, the work for this project will not start until 2015, but if everything stays on track the aim is to open it up to the public only a couple of years later.
