Last week, I saw the Fire Station, Zaha Hadid’s first European building, at the German Vitra Museum in Weil am Rhein. The innovative owner of Vitra, Rolf Fehlbaum, gave Zaha Hadid the opportunity to show her creativity—the breakthrough that initiated a stunning career in architecture and design.
