Michael Hemsworth — July 4, 2019 — Eco
The Yes! snack bars have been announced by Nestlé to now have an eco-friendly profile thanks to the implementation of a recyclable paper wrapper that's touted by the brand to be a world first. The packaging has been announced alongside three new flavors for the snack bars and comes as a response to consumer demand for products that aren't wrapped in plastic. The new bar flavors include Delicious Dark Choc, Banana & Pecan, Luscious Raspberry & Chia Seeds and Heavenly Pineapple & Coconut.
CEO for Nestlé in the UK and Ireland Stefano Agostini spoke on the new packaging for Yes! snack bars saying, Yes! represents exactly what more and more people are demanding from manufacturers like Nestlé now and for the future. Last year we introduced Yes! as an entirely new brand using wholesome ingredients and offering a healthier snacking option of tasty fruit and nut bars. Now we’ve turned our attention to the wrapper so that the packaging is sustainable and easy to recycle. It’s an important step as we work to make all of our packaging recyclable or reusable by 2025.”
