Created by ArchiBlox in just six weeks, this wood house is a prefab home that features two bedrooms, tons of style and a bevy of eco accents.
The wood used to wrap the prefab home is blackbutt hardwood timber that was milled using sustainable forestry methods to ensure that it would be beautiful but not with an added negative cost to the environment.
Oceanic views are accented with a wrap around deck, while the top portion of the wood house has a living green roof. The greenery helps to minimize rainwater runoff, help to decrease the amount of solar penetration there is to keep the home col and even acts as a thermal mass. These features round the prefab home off as being one of the more exceptional examples of what's being done in the sustainable housing market.
