The Windsor Knot Beer Celebrates Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
Katherine Pendrill — March 11, 2018 — Lifestyle
To mark the royal engagement of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Windsor & Eton Brewery has created a specialty brew called the Windsor Knot. Having previously created beers for Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding back in 2011, the new drink is certainly a royalty-approved brew.
The Windsor Knot is a special edition beer that honors the background of Meghan and Harry with the inclusion of both American and British hops. The American hoops are on the fruity side and come from Yamika in Washington State. On the other hand, the English hops are called Invitica and boast a more subtly flavored. To give the beer a wedding-inspired touch, the hops are combined with champagne yeast.
Available in both 330ml bottles and in cask, the new beer is the perfect way to toast the royal couple.
