Cotswolds Distillery created a small-batch Wildflower Gin that blends cornflowers, locally grown lavender and orange with its classic London Dry gin. The gin spirit represents the first expression in the Wildflower Gin Collection and it takes inspiration from the grasslands of the Cotswolds, which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The fresh, floral and fruity gin spirit also contains notes of juniper, coriander and angelica thanks to the London Dry base, plus a few other additions like rhubarb root. The taste of the product is said to be "reminiscent of summer meadows" with a clean and refreshingly dry finish.
When it comes to enjoying No.1 Wildflower Gin, Cotswolds Distillery recommends using it as a spritz with premium tonic and a slice of orange.
