The Westland Distillery Solum single-malt scotch whiskey is a premium spirit with a first of its kind profile to provide avid alcohol connoisseurs with a decidedly American option to try out.
The spirit features American peat for the mashing process, which is responsibly sourced from a bog just outside of Seattle, two-hours to the south. The final result is reported to have notes of burnt sage with vanilla chamomile tea, coffee cake and even pumpernickel toast.
The Westland Distillery Solum is being rolled out now as Edition 1, which will see a limited release of just 4,044 bottles. Priced at $150 per bottle, the spirit is branded with a topographical label to convey the worldly nature of the libation.
