The 'Update' Project is an initiative that includes two professional architects along with 17 students, exploring the idea of regeneration in Italy.
One design that has come about with the project is the 'Update#04 Viewpoint,' which is a tiny gabled-roof structure in the hillside, that allows people to sit and contemplate the surroundings and the area in general. There is also a famous cave nearby, and when asking people about memories of this place or how it influences them, they realized that somewhere was needed to think about these questions. This is partly how the structure came to be.
The design is quite small, with an open front and back letting the light shine in and visitors to see the stunning views surrounding the area.
