Bologna-based design studio STUDIOFEM unveils The Mini, which is designed by architects Francesca Morsiani and Mujgan Merve Rinaldi. It takes place in the village of Cavusin, Nevsehir, Turkey in the midst of beautiful mountains. The home has a rectangular shape and is defined by dark brown panels that are applied vertically and open up with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a sleek exterior.
The large windows ensure that the inside is full of natural light and the large panes also bring a closer touch to the landscape that it is surrounded by. Although the space is small, the inside has sight lines to the outdoors from many angles. Along the open living space, the kitchen cabinets rest along one wall and turn into a built-in bench closer to the bedroom.
