As tattoo culture is making the shift from counterculture to the mainstream, numerous innovations are arising in the form of subscription services, personal tattoo machines, augmented reality and radical changes to familiar temporary tattoo ink formulas.
Although many temporary tattoos are now made with non-toxic vegetable based ink, Inkbox is proposing something a little different with its formula for all-organic fruit-based tattoos.
The tattoos can be applied in about 10 minutes and have a staying power that lasts for about two weeks. As well as being impressive for these reasons, the tattoos also have a striking resemblance to a real tattoo, making it possible to have the look of a real tattoo, without having to making a permanent commitment to a particular temporary tattoo design.
