STB from Peter Jellitsch is an amazing series of drawings that attempts to capture what the wind actually looks like. Jellitsch's drawings look nothing like actual wind, and with good reason. In the words of the artist/architect, STB was inspired by "a motion algorithm that is used in architectural practice to simulate wind directions and the force of air that arrives at highrise buildings."
Jellitsch decided to give this algorithm a life outside of the computer using his pen. The result is an awesome series of illustrations that adds to the allure and wonder of wind. STB from Peter Jellitsch is a great way to see one's perception of wind in a three-dimensional manner.
