For St. Patrick's Day this year, General Mills is introducing a special edition cereal under its Lucky Charms brand that introduces a new marshmallow shape. For many Lucky Charms lovers, the best part of eating a bowl of breakfast cereal is all in the colorful marshmallows, which come in shapes like horseshoes and rainbows.
The classic version of the marshmallow-filled cereal is typically rainbow-colored but Lucky Charms' new cereals are going all green and gold. Joining the signature shamrock marshmallow is a coin-like piece with a green star at its center that can be found in the Special Edition Lucky Charms and the equally sweet chocolate version of the cereal.
