Southern Grace Distillery is a relatively new craft distillery that finds its home in a former North Carolina prison. This unique headquarters are something celebrated by the distillery and are used by the brand as a way to distinguish themselves in the crowded world of craft whiskey. The distillery currently only has one offering, known as Conviction -- a play on the prison theme of the brand. Conviction is touted by Southern Grace Distillery as the first bourbon to be aged behind bars and has been referred to as prison whiskey.
