Imagination is a must when working to attract the attention of young consumers and Snack Monsters packaging quite playfully expresses its contents in an utterly scrumptious fashion. Student graphic designer Angus Nicholls has succeeded in referencing the specific edible item inside, in asserting its toothsomeness and in inventing a collection of engaging characters to completely win over even the choosiest children.
Fictitiously adding a line of fresh fruit to the existing product base of the Natural Confectionery Company, the designer conceived a visual identity that complements the established branding scheme. White card is curled around to form open cartons for individual apples, pears and oranges, printed with animated illustrations of the items within. Circular cutouts in Snack Monsters packaging provide sneak peeks of the delectable healthy treats, made to look like the hungry mouths of the vividly drawn fruits.
