Luxury fashion label Acne Studios has officially unveiled its newest clothing series titled 'Seasons 7 & 8.' The concise new capsule reaches into the brand's past collections, turning leftover textiles and materials into all-new repurposed garments.
The new series makes use of excess materials including fleece, jersey, woven silk, and eco-printed denim. What's more, the series leans into its own DIY aesthetic, dressing many of its garments with playful doodle-like drawings, stick figures, and abstract text. Specific pieces in the series include jersey t-shirts, silk shirts, fleece sweatsuits, and patched jeans.
“All these clothes are designed so that every single person can wear them, regardless of gender or identity. For me, that feels really modern, powerful, and joyful – and that’s what youth is all about," said the series' curator, Olu Odukoya.
