Scotiabank Toronto recently transformed the building that previously played host to the Toronto Sun newspaper.
Dubbed the 'Digital Factory,' the new offices have a slightly futuristic feel to them, with highly contemporary and minimalist interiors which pose as the perfect setting for versatile employee interaction. In order to enhance this, designers made sure to place work spaces along the outside of the building to maximize the amount of natural light that would enter.
In addition to these work spaces, Scotiabank Toronto's Digital Factory incorporates a healthy cafeteria called 'Southside Betty's,' an expansive gym that frequently hosts classes and nutritionist visits, and a quiet zone called 'The Plant,' which was created to facilitate research, writing and thinking.
