Thai sauce and seasoning brand Deksomboon created a soy sauce ice cream flavor that's both sweet and savory. Although soy sauce can be quite salty, the ice cream is said to have a caramel-like flavor overall, thanks to the unique balance of flavors and the rich, creamy texture of the frozen dessert. Naturally, for those who crave flavor enhancements, Deksomboon soy sauce can be added as a topping.

Deksomboon currently serves its unusual soy sauce ice cream in Bangkok, Thailand from machines in its newly opened showroom, which also doubles as a space for consumers to pick up unusual and hard-to-find condiments.

In the future, Deksomboon is planning to launched two new soft serve flavors based on sauces from its existing collection.
