At this year's Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto, Caf-Eh-To challenged people to trade their usual sweet ice cream topping of choice for a spicy one instead. Caf-Eh-To served up flavors like blackcurrant and peach mango ice cream, drizzled with sweet-hot chili sauce and a whole pepper, for good measure, to garnish.
The hot and cold, sweet and spicy treat was served in small cups, whetting appetites for adventurous eating, and tapping into the demand as of late for saucy, condiment-inspired and -infused ice cream flavors.
Other fruity ice cream flavors were also served at the CNE by Caf-Eh-To, infusing other classic ice cream flavors like strawberry, vanilla pistachio and chocolate with newfound levels of heat.
