In 2020 The Riverbend School will open its doors near Chennai, India will open its doors, offering middle school and high school-aged students a more contemporary classroom environment that prioritizes personal happiness and emotional development.
This newly announced education project believes that non-traditional forms of education are often overlooked, and hope that placing an emphasis on emotional intelligence and personal happiness will help the students achieve greatness later in life. At this school, the students will select the topics they're interested in studying, while the facility's staff will serve as mentors and coaches, rather than traditional teachers. Even the school's architecture was created to foster a deeper sense of happiness as it features a public plaza where the kids can congregate and a variety of rooms and hallways which encourage socialization.
